Join Jess live from the comfort of your own home. She will be focusing her talk to us on the themes of her book, Earth’s Incredible Oceans. Jess will talk about oceans and the creatures that live underwater, and finish off by demonstrating a craft activity (a self-watering plant pot made of a plastic bottle)
This session is suitable for families with children aged 5+

- String/Wool
- Scissors
- A plant or seeds
- Ruler
- Soil
Biography -Jess French is a nature lover, TV presenter, author, and qualified vet. She is known for her show on CBeebies, called ‘Minibeast Adventure with Jess’, which encourages children to explore the outdoors and get to know the bugs around them. She has written three books for DK, What a Waste, which tackles the subject of sustainability for children, The Book of Brilliant Bugs, which explores the world of minibeasts, and the World Book Day 2021 title Protect the Planet. Jess is a keen conservationist and has a passion for oceans and the animal world.
