The Festival of Creativity North Lincolnshire took place on 2nd-4th July 2021.
North Lincolnshire’s Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP), ArtLincs, were proud to present the Festival of Creativity – a weekend of music, dance, literature, art and much more. All for children and young people throughout the region, designed to help them find their spark.
About The Festival
Running from 2nd-4th July 2021 across North Lincolnshire, the Festival of Creativity was designed for, by and with young people. Combining music, dance, literature, art and much more, the festival was the perfect weekend of fun and culture to help you #findyourspark!
We were also thrilled to host the 4th annual Power of Words event across North Lincolnshire on Saturday 3rd July 2021. The Power of Words aims to promote literacy throughout our communities and celebrates the importance of books, words and reading. Giving children the best start in life and promoting a life-long love of reading for pleasure. The Power of Words celebrates the success of our drive to continually improve literacy levels across North Lincolnshire. For this year’s POW line up, we had a wealth of award-winning authors, illustrators, poets and performers. And best of all it’s totally FREE.
The Festival of Creativity 2021, an ArtLincs (North Lincolnshire’s Local Cultural Education Partnership) initiative, was been made possible with thanks to funding from Arts Council England, with partnership investment from North Lincolnshire Council, North Lindsey College and University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL), part of DN Colleges Group, North Lincolnshire Children’s Literacy Trust, The Ropewalk, Scunthorpe Pentagon Rotary Club and voluntary time from North Lincolnshire Arts Forum.
